R. Kelly responds to Village Voice story about past sexual assault allegations

R.Kelly has responded to the Village Voice shocking article about his history of alleged sexual abuse of teenage girls which centered around an interview with Chicago Sun-Times music journalist, Jim DeRogatis, who broke the story 15 years ago.

During an interview with Atlanta’s V-103, R.Kelly had this to say about the article;
"Well I feel like I got the football man, and I’m running towards the touchdown and if I stop and look back or mess around, I’ll get tackled. When you get on top of anything, it’s very windy, It’s about holding your balance once you get up there…Spiritually, I’m a climber.”
Nokia Phones
Nokia has unveiled a new platform for Windows phone application developers in Nigeria and Ghana in an effort to encourage local application development.
The platform known as DVLUP will enable local talents in both countries create, book and manage their own app promotions.
DVLUP, according to the smartphone maker, will allow developers control promotion of their apps by introducing technologies unique to Nokia devices, and marketing opportunities afforded only by Nokia instead of relying on most app stores that depend on algorithms and store owners to control promotional efforts.
The offering, which Windows app developers can join for free, centres on winning badges, earning experience points and leveling up by completing quizzes and challenges related to app development.
Speaking about the new platform, Emmanuel Oluwatosin, the head of ecosystem developer experience at Nokia West Africa, said that the programme was in line with Nokia’s plan to support developers across the globe and also get more developers for its Windows OS based devices.
“We are happy that this programme is finally coming to Nigeria and Ghana, and we believe that this is a huge and exciting opportunity for developers in both countries to tap into.
"This is an opportunity for them to make the  most of their talents, build more locally relevant apps and promote the  apps themselves,” he said.
He explained that DVLUP uses gamification techniques to help developers earn badges and experience points (known as “XP”) that could then be used for promotion support for their apps.
Oluwatosin added that by building high-quality apps, developers can earn additional points and unlock even greater opportunity for exposure.
